Home care packages

If you have one of these government-funded packages you can choose your own physiotherapist. Generally there will be no gap payment, depending on the funds available in your budget. Please let your care coordinator knows that you have booked In-Home Physio SA to come to your home. Then leave it with us to look after the process of payment. Chronic Disease Management plan:

Your GP approves this plan, which enables you to receive a Medicare rebate for up to five allied health sessions in total per calendar year. The Medicare rebate for these sessions is typically $52.95 per session. (A gap payment applies and private health insurance cannot be used to cover this gap.

Private health insurance:

In-Home Physio SA has an agreement with several major private health insurers. However, a gap payment is applied, depending on your level of cover. Please contact your private health fund directly for more information. Payment is easy as In-Home Physio SA uses a portable HICAPS terminal, so you just have to swipe your private health insurance card.
